ADUs and Home Additions in the East Bay
California changed its ADU laws, and a garage or a back corner of your lot can now become real, rentable, livable space. We design and build ADUs and additions in house, from the permit set to the last coat of paint.
How we approach it
An ADU is a small house, which means every trade shows up in a tight footprint. We plan utilities, ceiling height, and natural light early, because those are the decisions that make an ADU feel like a home instead of a converted garage.
We handle the permit path so you are not chasing the city. You get one team accountable for the whole thing.
What it covers

Things people ask
Not sure where to start? Call us. The first conversation is free and there is no pressure.
- How much does a garage conversion ADU cost?
- It depends on the size, the finishes, and how much new plumbing and electrical the unit needs. Every garage is different, so the honest answer is that we give you a real number after we see your space, and we walk you through the trade offs before you commit to anything.
- How long does an ADU take?
- Plan on five to eight months start to finish, including design and permitting. The build itself is the shorter part. Permitting timelines vary by city.
- Will an ADU add rental income?
- Often, yes. A well built ADU can bring in steady rental income and adds long term value to the property. We can talk through realistic numbers for your specific lot.
